On November 4, 2010, the morning activities will start at the George C. Marshall Center at the Department of State, with presentations to introduce aspects of the Civil Society 2.0 concept, followed by discussions on five civil society topic areas:
- Democracy Transparency and Civic Engagement
- Promoting Economic Opportunity
- The Role of Science, Tech, Environment
- Disaster Risk Management
- Civil Society and Government in Fragile States

And of course the "Unconference" on November 5, 2010
On November 5, 2010, the "Unconference" will start with breakfast at the World Bank. Opening remarks will be presented by David Weinberger, Fellow at the Berkman Center for Internet and Society at Harvard Law School, and Wayne Moses Burke, Open Forum Foundation. The unconference allows participants to form their own agenda and sessions to more widely share expertise and explore the issues of Civil Society 2.0.
